Hi folks, I have an 8' pram currently powered by an 1959 3hp Evinrude Lightwin. The motor runs but has a lot of hours on it. I am considering a new 4 stroke. Options seem to be 2.5 hp or 3.5 hp. Does anyone have a gut feel for what HP the old Evenrude might be putting out on an equivalent basis. Also I don't want to start a huge debate on manufacturers, but does anyone have any comments on Tohatsu's 2.5hp or 3.5hp versus another favorite brand? Thanks,Stu
