Default Big Game In Bahamas

My wife and are heading to the Westin Grand Bahama on the main Island on the 17th of Feb. We are wanting to do some deep water game fishing. Can anyone tell us of a top notch charter that can put us on the fish. I realize that it is a little early in the season for some types of fish but hopefully we can pull out a good dayu.

Hi Brad,
I cannot recommend any reputable operations on Grand Bahama Island. Even after asking around, nobody has any thing real good to say about charters. Most everyone I know runs their own boat(s) over. What I would recommend is check at Port Lucaya and see what recommendations you get. For the most part, many of the boats will be one man shows with a captain that may know the waters, but may not be a good fisherman. Before committing to any charter, check out the boat and ask the captain about the style of fishing he offers and whether there is a mate on board to handle all extras.
