Burton Bradstock
Did an overnight stint last night, arrived 8pm Friday evening and walked as far to the right as I could be bothered to get away from all the chavs on the beach in front of the cafe.
Ended up in front of the caravan park, mackerel everywhere so had 2 chucks and got myself 12; more than enough for the BBQ and bait.
At 10 pm chucked out a peeler on a pulley at 120 yards nothing for 20 mins, so re baited and put it back out and it got nailed straight away resulting in a starry hound of around the 7lb mark; this continued for just over an hour with 5 other hounds between 4 and 6lb with some dogfish in between.
By midnight things dropped of a bit so I decided to fish the spinning rod with a runnning ledger and ragworm, resulting in about 10 small pout several doggies and a bass of 2.5lb. All fell within 10 -20 yards range.
Fished the main rod till around 3 am 1 more small hound around 3 lb and loads of doggies and spider crabs, so went to bed.
Fished this morning from 8am NOTHING just huge spider crabs!!!!
