Subject: Revolution 4 Vs. Mirage Plus = same pitch = same rpm???

Location: Whitman, MA		Has anyone compared both these props? I'm curious if the Revolution 4 will turn approx the same RPM as a mirage Plus with the same pitch. What has been peoples experience with these 2 props? Also interested in minimum planing speed.

Location: Seattle, WA		The Revolution 4 will turn about 200-250 RPM less than the same pitch MIRAGEplus.

The Revolution 4 will hold a boat on plane at a slower boat speed.

The Revolution 4 may not be as fast at the top end as the MIRAGEplus but it depends on the boat/motor.

The Revolution 4 weighs quite a bit more than the MIRAGEplus and will shift with more "clunk" and may cause "prop rattle" depending on the motor.

The Revolution 4 will grip much better than the MIRAGEplus and may be run at a higher motor mounting height.

Location: Way out west		The Rev 4's offer more stern lift and are also a fully computer designed and manufactured prop. The Mirage technology is just not current. From my own running of both of them, the Rev 4s and the Inertias are way ahead of the rest of the crop.
