Now that I can't figure out what's wrong with my 9.9HP,
Is the anybody that is reasonable or honest about what they charge for repairs?
I am looking for a mechanic that is local(N.Shore area) that will not jerk me around.
Any recommendations ? Thanks.

Agreed, he is #1 on OMC OBs, yet admitting the guy @ Pike Marine in Essex (forget his name) is also darn good on OMC and Bombardier motors.

That said, I am off all this week and am working in the boatyard (or fishing) almost 24/7 . Wouldn't cost you but a beer or two to bring it by and have me take a look at it with you. Send PM to me if interested ...
