Default Texas Flats at Seadrift

Capt. Jimmy Nunez and I fished the flats around Beacon 58 and ran up into the canals thereabouts. The wind was 5 to 10 knots around 9:00 am Sunday morning April 6th, 2008. I caught a 26 3/4" Booger Redfish that fought really well. Later Jimmy put me on a 271/2" Redfish and this fish made me walk around the back of the boat just to get him in the boat. He fought down the canal shoreline, then made a beeline for the Alweld 18' freshly painted. I caught this Redfish on dead shrimp. All in all a nice trip, Jimmy kept catching alligator gar, he caught four in the 5 Hr. trip, tight lines, audioAl over an out.

WIth the waters so high in mercury around there, how many eyes did the Redfish have?
