limewire is just as illegal as bearshare. bittorrent is the same way. As long as you download something that is copyrighted, you are breaking the law. with that said. My preference is limewire.

Whatever you use, turn off uploading. Downloading is illegal too, but so far they only mainly target individuals who are "sharing" the music stored on their system. Plus it saves your bandwidth.

put it in a bag full of uncooked rice. the little grains will act like tiny passive dehumidifiers. this works wonders if you havent fried the unit. but if its needing dried out give this a try. dont ask me how but i know it worked for me...
